After several sold-out dinner shows at ’t Oude Parochiehuis, Rick van der Kroon – Dutch Diamond returns to ’t Oude Parochiehuis in Mijdrecht on Friday 6 November for a new Dinnershow!

During this special evening, let yourself be surprised by the greatest hits of Neil Diamond, such as Hello Again, Cracklin’ Rosie, I Am… I Said and, of course, the sing-along moment at Sweet Caroline!
And that is not all: the fantastic guest performance.

When you say Rick van der Kroon, you are talking about an artist with a perfect voice. Known primarily for many years as a singer and entertainer at Café Peter Beense. In 2005, Rick released his first single “Het draait alleen nog maar om jou” and managed to reach the single top 100 with it. Rick performs weekly, mainly with a Dutch-language repertoire. During singing lessons with Kees Taal in 2009, they discovered that his low voice bears a strong resemblance to that of singer Neil Diamond.

That repertoire, with which Rick grew up, is not unknown to him, and soon one plus one equals TWO and Rick gets to work with it. First during singing lessons and then with his performances. The reactions from the audience are all enthusiastic. The best compliment: “When I close my eyes, it’s just like I’m really hearing Neil Diamond”.

During the Neil Diamond Dinnershow on Thursday 5 November 2026 and Friday 6 November 2026, Meike van der Veer will perform at ’t Oude Parochiehuis. With her warm voice and strong stage presence, she makes an important musical contribution to this special theatre evening.

Meike van der Veer is a versatile Dutch singer with a broad background in pop, soul and jazz. She followed her vocal training at the DJAM in Amsterdam and developed into an experienced live performer and vocal coach.

She became known to a large audience through her participation in the first season of The Voice of Holland. Since then, she has been on stages throughout the Netherlands. She performs in theatres, concert halls and at cultural productions and special events.

In addition to her performances, she works on her own repertoire and presents her concert series Meike & Friends. She is also active as a singing teacher and involved in various musical projects.
